Good afternoon friends! Dizzy blue heights of open sky and long trailing shadows tiger-striping the woodlands. More and more brilliant glass chip flashes of lilac and purple and gold from among the leaf-litter, tufty green sprays of slender iris stems and broad borage and green alkanet leaves.
Fairly dull and fatigued today from a change in routine yesterday and a cold, restless night. Hard to feel warm, spending a lot of time resting under a heated blanket.
