Good evening friends! A cool spring-like azure became more prominent today, some blue-black walls of rain glutted cloud but they drifted past with fair speed, leaving only a whisper of drizzle in their wake. It may be just imagination but the scent of rain seems changed, a sweeter more lively register than the dank smell of wintery mud. The year’s first sighting of a great crested grebe, far out on the water but its rusty scarlet coronet still unmistakable.

Feeling livelier again, moving more easily and thoughts clearer as I got back into my routine, did some light exercise.

May we be filled with a spirit of self-compassion and perseverance today!
