Goodnight friends! Temperature slipping back downward, and a bleak blueish cast to the air. Bushy stands of green alkanet withered and shrank a little over winter but, rarely kept down for long, are now returning in force with fresh white-speckled lanceolate leaves. Just enough of a wind to buffet a sense of deep cold into my bones.

Distracted and scatter-brained, my focus shot by the fractured feeling of trying to manage diffuse, grating pain that swelled with the damp and chill. I was relatively active on my recovery day too, which has slowed me down. Muddling along, taking care of myself a bit more sensibly and making space to recover in.

May we discover interests and passions that expand our worlds today!
