Good evening friends! I’ve been checking the forecasts so I had already braced myself somewhat, but it was still jarring and dissapointing to wake to too-familiar flat grey skies and clinging dampness. Just two days had reminded me thoroughly of the dizzying luxury of spring, and I’m thankful I was well enough to get outdoors on both of them. Dragged down by weariness today, and the confusing bureaucratic dread of more benefits admin.
If nothing else that rare summery interlude kickstarted a lot of leaves and flowers into their full.growth – magnolias in uncountable porcelain abundance, the first rough butterbur leaves, only dinner plate sized for now, tun-like burdock flowerbuds swelling.
May we find a deeper understanding of ourselves, our pasts and our goals today!
