Goodnight friends! A greasy, heavy grey start, 12°c with a dense amd clammy autumnal feeling. Fortunately I managed to take a walk relatively early amid the hoarse barking of squirrels and the uncertain flames of changing branches twisting in damp winds. I missed the downpour that made up most of the rest of the day, a slow clattering swell that grew denser, heavier and louder over several hours, and never quite let up until after dark.

The ache of the dropping temperature and pressure drilled deep into my nerves, feeling heavy, compressed and nauseous after sleeping poorly. My ambitions to so much with the day were quashed fairly swiftly, though I did manage to catch and fix an error before a piece of artwork went to print, which I’m pretty pleased with.

May we find renewed confidence in our ability to meet and overcome challenges today!
