Good evening friends! Heavy and stickily humid after thin speckling overnight drizzle, sheets of dimpled cloud silvered by the morning sun. Distant trees blue and dreamlike across dewy parkland. Harvestmen stride among wickedly spiny gorse prickles with erratic springy grace, like stiltwalkers strutting through a forest of three metre pikes. The feeling of pressure and sweaty heat has only been increasing over the afternoon, and forecasts suggest an overnight storm.
The heavy damp atmosphere hasn’t been great for me, as usual, especially draining after a week or more of generally somewhat poor health and heavy fatigue. Added to this is a stabbing needle of pain in one of my ribs whenever I breathe in, maybe a mild fracture of some kind from a slight fall, adding an extra layer of difficulty to everything.
May we find healing and calm today!
