Goodnight friends! Rain overnight and an dilute, ash-coloured morning. The air fizzed wetly with damp, and sluggish drizzle started up again in the late afternoon. Trees beginning to smoulder red and amber in full earnest, the green crowns of urban lindens and London planes and sycamores all dipped in honey.
Sleep still wavering with pain, and still some spells of vertigo and giddiness over the day, but far less oppressive. Tiring quickly, but springing back a little faster too I think. Went to the art gallery to see a little exhibition of botanical illustration, and enjoyed some impressionists and caravaggisti too. First outing in the wheelchair in a while, since the slow museum walk and managing dizziness are both pretty exhausting, and I feel like it definitely preserved some energy.
May we clear our hearts and senses as best we can and allow ourselves to fully connect with and experience the world as it is today!
