Goodnight friends! Long interludes of clearer skies today, clouds mainly wide gauzy expanses that soften and spread the light out into a wet, misty glaze. The wakes of ducks on the dark water are briefly sewn with golden thread when the membrane splits. Decisively dropping into the single digit temperatures now as brief, gloamy afternoons draw in. Brief spates of thin silent rain summoned up copper-tinged rainbows.
Time and energy intermesh and both melt and warp. Unsure what I did today or how long any of it may have taken. Besides my unstable mood my working memory and general cognition are both suffering significantly – today it took me a long moment to register that a group of uncannily short, strangely proportioned people I saw were in fact not unusual at all, but children.
