Goodnight friends! Steady build of pressure from sulky pale grey skies finally came to a head, giving us a long day of rain. From sunrise to near full dark, a constant silent veil of thin drizzle, a faint but numbing haze that muted sounds and colours. Magpies picked through the parchment leaves with a desolate air, squirrels seemed at least temporarily put off from their urgent gathering and squabbling. Still the odd lost-seeming wasp hunting for something among the sodden grass.

Slept badly as the weather cooled and grew more humid overnight. Got myself going eventually and took a long, slow walk in my most waterproof gear. My thoughts cleaered up in the evening, nanaged to do a little bit of not-entirely-aimless drawing, hoping to ramp up the pace bit by bit and make a mini-zine project or something.

May we find an rekindled sense of passion and purpose today!
