Good evening friends! Far more humid and damp, clothes clinging and sweaty in still grey air. Thick buttery smell of honeysuckles floats from gardens, riding bumblebee hum and rolling trills from thrushes. Geometric jagged rosettes of ragwort and hair-fine branching stems of Yorkshire fog grass leap upwards in the meadows.
Eccentric reverberations from trying to correct my sleep schedule, I woke up at about 6:30 am feeling like I’d been startled awake by running into a cartoon brick wall. I feel like it would help to be a little better rested and more diurnal for my upcoming activities, so maybe this is all for the best. Otherwise a fairly uneventful and limited day, elected to get a workout in so I can keep my fitness habits going while having a bit more time to recover this week.
May we recognise and appreciate our efforts and successes today, and find the courage and confidence to acknowledge and build on them!
