Goodnight friends! Still a heavy, hazy colourless atmosphere with an uncomfortable, bloated thickness to the air. Out with my girlfriend, another friend and their kid to a cute little cherry blossom festival in the city. Whether it was insomnia, moving around too much or just the unpredictable symptom roulette, I was unfortunately dizzy and nauseous most of the day, which just added to the general discomfort of fatigue. It was a nice afternoon out nevertheless, the fun kind of eclectic mix of activities you get at these small-scale events. A tiny market, craft activities for children and an outdoor performance of contemporary music featuring brass, violins, and high-gain microphones held up close to strummed dry reeds, twisted pine cones and cacti with their spines plucked like the tines of a mbira.
May we find patience and acceptance today help us manage the unavoidable heartaches we face today!
