Goodnight friends! Occasional biting gusts but generally warm, even slightly sultry at times beneath a low grey felt blanket of clouds. The thirsty soil has already soaked up every drop of rain the last few days have given and brought forth masses of ragwort and clover, miles of winding bramble and bindweed that engulf railings and fences and saplings. Little trailing tracks and paths have been swallowed up by burgeoning grass.
A little of everything today, a too tired and hazy for sustained efforts but between long stretches of listless recuperation I’ve done what I can – some exercise, some drawing, some walking, a bit of writing. Single stones stacked on gradually accumulating piles.
May we find release from hoplessness and grief today, and a growing sense of our capability and resilience!
