Goodnight friends! A very humid start but cooling down a little, beneath a very murky, mottled grey sky. Feathery brush of drizzle around 11 thickened by slow degrees into a shower, then a full-on rainstorm, pouring through midday until past one. White fanfare of unfurling bindweed trumpets juddered and shook, lemon yellow cat-ears and linden leaves all trembling like cymbals. The relieved pressure hardly lasted a half hour, evening becoming sultry again, leading to spates of after dark rain.
A fun little outing, taking a walk with a friend and their kid along with my girlfriend and her dog, very fun to see child and pup interact. Our stroll was curtailed by the rain, which worked out okay since I was starting to flag anyway. Back to the semi-stasis of recovery for the rest of the day.
May we open ourselves to new experiences and new ideas today!
