Goodnight friends! Long landslide rumble of thunder to start the day, heralding a few hours of ferocious rain. By midday though it had slowly faded to silence, a brief polished grey stillness that began to rustle and waver and had started to split into tattered blue pennants by mid-afternoon. Trefoils and field bindweed clamber around the graves, green haws hang in neat rows in the hedges. Rain started up again after dark, a steady soft whisper and crackle in the dark.
Resting up still, feeling better for having been very fallow and slow this weekend. Pain flares that were abating spiked up again with the change in the weather, and it was hard to hold on to brief periods of focus.
May we open ourselves to new experiences and ideas and visions of the world today!
