Goodnight friends! Left feeling exhausted and pained by continuing heavy skies and soft, sibilant rain combined with the whiplash from my mild but prolonged exertions yesterday. Periods of unsettling semi-blankness, of sensing my body at a grey remove like a cut-stringed marionette, thoughts eeling out of my grasp.
Wildly tossing and shuddering wind but to no avail against a colourless haze of a sky, even the floating droplets in the air barely seemed to gain any momentum, too insubstantial to sting or spatter. No sense of the day passing, just one long thin extruded sheet of hour after hour, damp and flavourless.
May we find gentleness and respite today!
