Goodnight friends! Colder again. A thin, clammy fog lasted through the whole day, not dense enough to show itself clearly as anything but a dulling and softening of distant trees, a vague smeared sense that a little of the hazy gunk of sleep might still be stuck in the corners of my eyes. Moss spongy and saturated, grass speckled with crystal droplets, fallen leaves lacquered into slippery wet mats. Rain came and went, with the air so soupy and wet it was difficult to say exactly when.
Reserved day, resting fairly often but trying to be more balanced, a full course of stretches and brief bits of drawing when I could manage, as well as a little walk in the churchyard with my girlfriend and her dog. The aching in my joints and the half-phantasmal sense of penetrating cold were both fairly tough to manage.
May we find renewed passion and determination to pursue our goals today!
