Goodnight friends! Some rainfall again but far more contained today, a great change from the constant ambient prickly hiss of the past few days, rising and falling but never quite subsiding. A pale and pearly sky, the sun rarely breaking all the way through but brief soft shadows appeared from time to time, and sunset painted the west in gold and the sleepy eastern sky lilac. First tentative golden slivers of celandine buds just beginning to split open in sheltered corners, and a few garden daffodils nodding in the hints of wan sunlight.

A mostly fairly gentle day, seeing my girlfriend off after a sleepover, then resting for most of the afternoon to recover from yesterday’s outing. Focus very fleeting and a heavy lingering sense of weakness, but overall as it gets warmer and drier I feel a little rejuvenated – so pacing carefully will be important to not overspend myself.

May we find and cultivate community and connection today!
