Good evening friends! Yesterday’s dour murky skies and deep damp cold continue, wind a heavy moaning pressure trying to buffet me back and forth. Fortunately managed to get out of the house a little earlier, since most of the latter half of the day has been a miserable pattering rain interspersed with hissing sleet.
Still a little jittery, last shivers of nervous energy manifesting in a few paradoxical surges of activity that leave me feeling confused and weary, but accomplished. I inventoried and re-arranged the freezer, and momentarily overcame my (well-justified, considering my clumsiness and poor memory) fear of cooking to make a tray of simple roasted vegetables which actually came out pretty well.
May we find clarity and open-hearted acceptance of our lives as we experience them today!
