Goodnight friends! Warmer today, around 7°c, and a brighter, more expansive feeling despite the damp. Rain came in condensed, abrupt showers, mostly still fine drizzle, but in dense smoky curtains that snapped on and off as long, hazy-edged eggshell blue windows in the grey clouds slid overhead. After dark the full moon hung high and clear, bright white above a soft haze of thin mist that smeared the heavy orange glow of lampposts.

Sleeping about as well as I could expect, and resting as much as I can. Pretty easy, with two layers of differently textured fatigue weighing down on me at once, an unacustomed prickly blurriness of a cold atop the omnipresent cold leaden ache. This mild cold is rolling on in an almost neat clockwork fashion, a sore throat in the morning that faded fairly fast, then plain stuffiness progressing into sharp sneezes.

May we find a sense of curiosity and wonder at the world around us today!
