Goodnight friends! The atmosphere and temperature of the average day creeping further and further into gloom and chill, easier to notice after a few days spent indoors. Around 3°c today on a fairly unsurprising afternoon, no great sweeps of wind or rain, just a heavier, sharper weight of cold.
Saw my girlfriend off after a wonderful few days together, a radiant afterglow of contentment that underscores the slow-dragging process of my new lease waiting to be confirmed. Otherwise, feeling somewhere around that still slightly fussy point of being 75-80% over this cold, still some coughs and splutters and added tenderness, but hoping to be a bit more easily active.
