Goodnight friends! A faintly promising start, chilly but with a pearly mottled blue-grey sky. By the time I hauled myself up though the clouds had already thickened and darkened like the first swell of a bruise. t began to rain, a steady moderate saturating shower that lasted until twilight. Stubborn snaring carpets of ivy had a gloomy green-black shine, draped over fallen trunks laced with frills of bracket fungi and tiny gardens of lush spiky moss.
Managed to stretch my legs a bit despite the wet and another rough, aching and sore-headed start. A rainy dog walk with my girlfriend and a long slow lounge and lunch at her place while I recuperated a bit.
May we find clarity in our goals and sense of purpose today!
