Goodnight friends! Much heavier, settled grey skies brooding low overhead. The soft tap tap of drizzle gradually gaining intensity into slow thumps afternoon and evening. Around 7°c, dipping down to 5°c after dark. Harsh electric security lights replaced the meager sun at around 4 PM, though from now on it will start scrabbling its way back up.
Keeping up my slow vigil of rest, taking things very cautiously, still resisting the temptation of testing my limits. Some warning dizziness and wobbly struggles with thermoregulation still, though fortunately no prolonged fever dream. Luckily the prickling in my fingers and toes left almost as soon as I cut off the first medication and hasn’t come back, so whether it was my mind or the medication I’m free of managing that extra wrinkle. The diaries will carry on through though, a useful tracker I can use to spend a bit more time reflecting on how my body is feeling and how I’m using rest.
May we find reasons for celebration and gratitude in our lives today!
