Goodnight friends! Marvellous glassy still clearness today, the sky shifting or fading each hour in one long slow sweep of colour. Warm, around 24°c even near nightfall, and melodious with thrush and other little calling birds, the burble of pigeons and the shrill chuffing barks of squirrels. Rowan berries glow like little lanterns, catching the fading pink of the day.
My sleeping pattern is remaining pretty twitchy and messed up, not nearly so easy to maintain recently. Perhaps this is partly a bad side effect of a good thing, that I’m finding it much easier to be interested, absorbed, enjoy things enough to want to keep being involved – a few hours of late might writing again.
May we find ourselves welcomed and understood today, and give the same gift to others wherever we can!
