Goodnight friends! The burst of jangling rain and lightning last night seems to have finally released enough tension to let the sky open and relax, clouds unravelling into scattered pale polkadot drifts, a quarter of the blue horizon burned pale by the bare heat of the sun. Snaking bands of brightness coming off the water, caressing craggy tree trunks. Verges rapidly bringing forth poppies and bachelor’s button, all lantern-glowing with captured light.
A great sense of release in my body, pain much more manageable especially as it brightened further through early afternoon. My mind and sense of self relieved somewhat too, an unforced urge to draw and a trickle of ideas returning as my mood bounces back.
May we find courage, wisdom and perseverance to keep searching for meaningful answers to the unanswered questions of our lives today!
