Good evening friends! Fair and almost cloudless all day, scant wisps of cottony cloud unspooled by cool bustling wind into long thin fleeting rags. Peachy-flanked jays abroad and busy in the woods among dense thickets of whip-thin saplings dusted with white blossom, progeny of last year’s scores of fallen apples.

Felt more engaged and lively today, though didn’t want to do to much as my stamina flickered and wavered hour by hour. Went and had a little picnic on the meadowlands, my back warmed by the sun, sheltered from the wind by a stand of heather just beginning to flush with green.

May we find clarity and patient thoughtfulness today!
