Goodnight friends! A little cooler and greyer, a gentle weight and greyness building slowly day by day. Clouds are still scattered enough that even as they come together into opaque bouldery shapes, that there are long clear hours of green half-summer. Camomile and cornflower slowly fade, while half-metre butterbur leaves wither and clench in dramatic fashion, clenched grey fists on tall still-green stalks.

Subdued buzz of anxiety and confusion rearing up most in the evenings, adding more than a little to my recurring difficulty sleeping, and in turn flattening the texture of my days to a long, dreary awakening and a smearing fog of drowsiness. Still finding a few wakeful hours for drawing, but everything else seems slightly out of tune.

May we.find compassionate patience and forebearance with ourselves and each other today!
