Goodnight friends! Put another tentative feeler out into the social work today, attending a local queer meet-up, chatting a little, trying bit by bit to scrape away the rust of 2+ years of isolation. Feel pretty flat and spaced out for now.
Something about the weather today seemed very lovely to me. Fairly warm and still, with brief passages of deep, open blue sky, but generally it stayed grey and overcast. Some gloomy days though have an additional quality to them, the damp air seductive and luminous like fog without fog, a velvety kind of embracing quietness.
May we find deeper self-knowledge today, and the perseverance and wisdom to work towards change for the better!
