Goodnight friends! Grey, mild and shadowless light, still around 13°c but feeling sharper again with a stronger flurrying wind that brought more contrast to the clouds. Crows rising like flakes of ash from the trees, swooping and jousting and tumbling with black-fingered wings paddling hard into the breeze. First fly agaric sightings of the season, as glossy enamelled red as a cartoon mushroom.
A peaceful, companionable day. My girlfriend slept over and we had a lazy breakfast in bed and then lunch together. Out with her dog for a walk in the park in the afternoon, we hadn’t been there for a while and unfortunately missed the full purple blush of heather.
May we find goals that excite us and futures to look forward to today!
