Goodnight friends! Quite a bit warmer, around 10°c at the peak, but barely feeling it. Whooshing thrum and pulse of cold gusts syncopated by the gravelly rattle of windblown drizzle. Rain fairly constant, mostly very thin, weightless but piercing. Trees straggling charcoal scribbles against a murky grey sky, wet flame-like shine of fluttering leaves.
Definitely feeling tthe damp getting to me, rough sleep again and a constant feeling of chill, exhaustion and numb clumsiness. These few cold days have knocked the focus and creative impulse out of me and left me in a low flat mood. Noticing the shield bug shining like jade on an orange leaf felt like a little spark rekindling something, buoyed me for the rest of the day.
May we allow ourselves rest, respite and change today!
