Goodnight friends! Only a few brief pauses in a slow, clock-tick of rainfall from a day-long ashen twilight sky. The forecast was dead on for today, and promises another solid week of just about the same. At any significant distance hues struggle to assert themselves, half-merging into a single smear of gloom. Hawthorns are starting to bloom, though their sweet pale aroma is all swallowed up and washed away for now.

Left somewhat weakened and achey as usual by the thick damp, but the temperature didn’t drop too much, and there weren’t any of the rapid changes of pressure.that seem to provoke the most discomfort. As it is I’m able to adjust fairly smoothly to just feeling like there’s just less of me around, spongy colourless absences coming and going.

May we find within and clearly express compassion for ourselves and each other today!
