Goodnight friends! Temperature dropping, blanched silvery grey skies and thin cold rain fizzing like static on my skin. Long drooping teardrop horse-chestnut leaves and burgeoning cow-parsley heavy and glossy with moisture. Golden buttercups slowly filling with water, fountaining sprays of young willowherb seedlings rise like a wave in the meadows.
Low-key day, resting after going to the flat yesterday and feeling the ambient fatigue and leaden pain of damp weather. Bit by bit checked off my daily goals, a patient and determined slog, but enough to feel like I’m doing my best to prepare for tomorrow.
May we recognise our strengths and weaknesses more clearly and with deeper compassion today!
