Goodnight friends! Soft kindling-chatter of rain from a smoke and silver sky for most of the day, a soothing susurration that wove through the chiming choruses of thrushes. Shy spiral-curling tendrils of meadow peas beginning to scroll upwards among the grasses and clover, budding oak leaves starting to fill out patchwork canopies.

Worn down and aching from the damp, and generally feeling floaty and abstracted, hard to concentrate or stay fully moored in my body. Trying to keep in mind that despite feeling useless I still did laundry, stretched, took a brief walk, read a little. I’m getting through and moving forward, at the pace I can sustain – as we all are.

May we find peace and balance in our lives today!
