Goodnight friends! Very subdued, gloomy skies for most of the day, with a few brief windows of brightness and hazy-edged blue in the afternoon when a fresh stuttering breeze picked up. Around 7°c and with a similar slightly clammy feeling as yesterday, though the sweetness of winter daphne and jasmine scented the air. An outing with my girlfriend, some friends and their kid to a craft fair held at the botanical gardens. The walk around the stalls and a brief tour around part of the gardens was a nice outing, but combined on the same day it took a lot out of me, and I ended up taking a series of dazed half-naps for most of the rest of the day.
May we find a sense of renewed wonder and delight in our lives today!
