Goodnight friends! A fair, warm start but considerably cooler and gloomier in the afternoon, with a faint, ghostly tapping of drizzle that slowly thickened into something a bit more like rain. Elsewhere I’ve seen magnolias alrrady in full bloom but the pale pink saucer-sized flowers on the tree nearest me are just beginning to split their fuzzy buds and open up. Long, forked meadow buttercup leaves thrusting up through the grass.

Slept much better, but still feeling some general malaise and hints of a glandular fever ache, teetering on this edgey, rough-edged sensation of not-quite-illness. Trying to strike a balance of being a little but not too active, resting a lot but not seizing up.

May we reflect, learn, and find clarity and deeper understanding today!
