Goodnight friends! A blazing, beautiful day, topping 21°c and cloudless until well past 1om, without a hat on I would have been broiled bright red in half an hour. A disappointment followed by a delight, as a viewing I had scheduled was cancelled with zero notice, but afterward I met up with some friends at winterbourne, had lunch on the terrace and strolled through the gardens in the sun. Such a relief to be building the stamina, the connections and to have the weather at least to do this kind of relatively safe socialising.
Larger and larger bumblebees seem to be about every day, the great dessert-plate blooms and agreeably nodding narcissus beds of the ornamental garden bringing them out in tunefully mumbling droves. The air delicious with growth and ambient floral sweetness.
