Goodnight friends! Wind harsher and more blustery, but without nuch bite in the warm air beneath cloudless azure skies. I realised that I think for the second year in a row I’ve been mistaking some of these wild cherry and apple blossoms for hawthorn, and only realising now on trees where saw-toothed rather than lobed leaves are starting to bud. Clunky twinkle of ice cream vans beginning to compete with birdsong, roadsides and banks speckled with purple dog-violet and pink dead-nettle.

Pain far milder for now, fatigue lingering a little, more in my cloudy and scattered thoughts, but feeling far easier and more mobile in my body at least.

May we find calm self-sufficiency and release from pointless anger today!
