Goodnight friends! Sky much cleared, largely blue by mid-afternoon, but the heat still had an oppressive soupy quality all day, filmy and dense, though sweet with honeysuckle and buddleja. The day, the summer solstice, wore on and on, gentle but oppressive, moon a slender sickle in a soft blue 9pm afternoon sky.
Recovery day, trying to take things as slow as I can. More gnawing, hot-and-cold flashing pain in my joints, hard to find a position of ease or restfulness.
