Goodnight friends! A classic simmering summer day, half-luxurious half-oppressive under the hot scouring light of a sun that seemed to hang at noontide half the day. Leaves rustle in a half-asleep murmur, afternoon shadows create submarine blue corridors beside walls and hedgerows.
Feverish and miserably sore overnight. Half-woke from strange dreams at least once, bathed in sweat. By this morning I felt like I had weathered the worst and come through. Breathing far from smooth and my throat is still very uncomfortable and raspy, but everything is at least a little improved. Exhaustion and fatigue fairly high, but everything feels in much more common proportion. I just feel ‘normal’ ill, not a stab of panic with every attempted step.
May we find and help build communities of genuine warmth and camaraderie today!
