Goodnight friends! A little more dour, but the clouds were mostly high, encompassing a lofty space that could fill with diffuse sunlight as well as fine, dreary drizzle. Rising to 12°c by midday, almost warm enough for the thick, colourless atmosphere to feel humid. Took a short walk just as pale grey afternoon faded into pale blue dusk, and the sky was bright enough at nearly 5 PM to clearly see the rapid flickering swerves and twists of bats, tiny black shapes jinking back and forth above the graveyard.
Still feeling the thick-headed pressure, stuffiness and very slight sore throat scratchiness of what must be a mild cold, maybe similar to the feeble virus I caught last month. Hopefully this one won’t grow into something more imposing. It is enough on top of my regular symptoms to sap a lot of energy, and make mental as well as physical effort extra uncomfortable.
May we find rest and healing today!
