Goodnight friends! Another long day and late night entry, the wildly gyrating spinning top of emotions beginning to settle into a steadier rotation, thanks largely to getting out of my own head. Former partner came over for a bit, the only face to face contact I get for now, finalising the enormous support they’ve given me on my disability paperwork. Also had a vibrant, compassionate conversation online with a longtime friend about mental health and therapy.
Very cold again, though a more still, heavy chill than the vast gusty blue of the past few days, the sun barely a foggy far-off pinprick, the sky flat and colourless. Weird electric chirrups from the thickly frozen surface of the reservoir. Third bar-headed goose sighting of the season, looking rather forlorn and harrangued by the larger Canada geese again.
