Goodnight friends! Some gloomy hours and brief light rain, but generally far fairer and clearer. Always at least a pale glimpse of blue, and when the chilly breeze picked up densw grey clouds temporarily dissolved into wavering tendrils and feathers of high pale wind-combed cirrus. Stubbornly 7°c still, squirrels rattling and squabbling among the ivy.
Better sleep than usual, and a long slow lazy morning after seeing my girlfriend off. Energy level not too high but fairly consistent, feeling balanced, fading slowly and steadily without the slightly panicked feeling of a crash.
