Goodnight friends! Double-vaccinated at last, staying over with family for a few days again in case of any side effects or flare-ups. Concerning how packed the town centre was, with what looked like less than 50% indoor mask uptake. Fortunately the little pop-up immunization kiosk I went to was outside, though it did mean everyone was queuing and waiting out their 15 minutes in the rain. It was nice having such a different experience this time, hearing the slow thud of raindrops on an awning and looking at a shuddering sycamore as I got my jab.
Golden streaks of shifting light across the grass to begin, a hopeful beginning that quickly greyed over and gave way to bruisy low-hanging clouds and hours of slow, patchy rain.
May we come closer to loving and fully accepting ourwelves as we are today!
