Good evening friends! With such variation in temperature, from 23°c a few days ago back down to 8°c now, it’s far easier to register as a fact how much more lethargic I am when it’s colder, feeling like a plug was pulled and all my inspiration and plans drained out of my body. Still, while determination ebbs and flows wild garlic leaves stay in my fridge, and their acid spring taste provided brightness when heavy clouds stuck around past midday.

Rescued from day-long gloom by blustery afternoon wind, pale eggshell skies returned and eventually I managed to get out for a short walk before a lovely leisurely sunset set in. Apple blossoms already blowing away, rumpled and wan and replaced by fountaining sprigs of green. A dreamy sparkling haze in the woods as low slanting light catches on the budding greenery.

May we find and take opportunities to experience beauty and strangeness today!
