Goodnight friends! Getting warmer, a sun-dappled morning that faded just a little into an even warmer but greyer and slightly sticky afternoon. The morbidly sweet scent of massed hawthorns permeates the churchyard. A few possible hawksbeards among the dandelions, sow-thistles opening up too. Trailing columns of banana yellow buds hanging from laburnum trees.
A fairly slow, careful day, feeling sligthly overdrawn and not wanting to overstretch myself after the little unexpected shopping trip yesterday. A friend came over with surprise dandelion fritters and we watched a movie
May we find time and space to recognise and accept our emotions, and be prepared to confront what they show us about ourselves today!
