Goodnight friends! Seemed more consistently open and bright today, feeling far warmer than the claimed 12°c or so and almost summery in the broad spans of azure sky. Flowerheads still swaying, but less recklessly, lax ribbony white magnolia petals and the pale pink confetti of cherry blossoms both fall softly onto grass dense with sheperd’s-purse and meadow-grass and primroses.
A lovely low key sleepover date with my girlfriend, breakfast in bed and drowsily nattering until morning slipped through our fingers. Then a sedate but somewhat active afternoon with some slow batch cooking for the week ahead.
