Goodnight friends! Definitely a feeling of the weather starting a big switch today. Warm but still and stuffy, an even milky light below carp-scale clouds. The arterial shadows of the trees are gone, a pastel softeners to colours that almost branded the eye yesterday. Drooping ribbed horse-chestnut leaves starting to bud, lawns speckled with daisies and purple speedwells.
Joints felt a little crunchy and painful again, and a general crushed, exhausted sensation. After the sore dazed start I got myself together bit by careful bit, and was able to continue with a bit of drawing.
May we find space and time for rest and purposeless stillness today!
