Goodnight friends! Around 20°c again but far more vivid and summery, a tactile weight of warmth on my cheek. Brief, passing prickly showers quickly shooed onwards across the wide blue sky by an inconstant breeze smelling half of warm grass, half of earth and decay. A few speckled wood butterflies dancing in the sunlight. Young magpies seem to be reaching their proper proportions, looking much less ungainly with their eyes glinting obsidian chips in fully dark-feathered heads.
A little scattered, but slept a bit better and got moving earlier in the day. Some stretches and a little creative work, including doing some test pagination for a minizine my girlfriend is making – her first one, which I’m really excited by. Online TTRPG group in the evening, too. The break in the rain and gloom really lifted my spirits and my stamina a few notches.
May we find a sense of balance and purpose in our lives today!
