Goodnight friends! Streaky blue skies full of light and movement, interleaved with gloomy flat grey expanses of silent drizzle. The veined wings of bundled samaras hanging from sycamore-maple trees darken. Robins and squirrels flit and scurry, bushes rattle, brief sprays of water from above marking their trails.
Feeling a bit better for the rest, but my energy flags again so quickly, especially in the teeth if pain renewed and deepened by the damp. Every action feels like a wrenching manual effort. Definitely counting the day as a worthwhile one with a bit of drawing, a fun evening with the TTRPG group.
May we find rest and recovery today!
