Goodnight friends! A dour, damp-feeling grey start again, no downpour but still a heavy wet chill and brooding, low hanging sky. Fortunately like yesterday the sky began to break open in the afternoon, clouds splitting and dissolving away as rapidly as the sun began to sink behind craggy trees, gently snuffing the orange blaze it had lit across changing canopies.
Pained insomnia and dazed, uncertain waking still, autumn continuing to play the usual tricks on my sore joints. Energy slowly stabilised through the day, but a general weariness was hard to fully overcome. Thoughts and ideas started hanging together at least, so I managed a few small pottering household tasks.
May we find a deepened sense of compassion for each other, and of urgent courage to act for justice today!
