Goodnight friends! At first as flat and unwelcoming a morning as the past few days, and an early silent haze of drizzle. But just when it seemed we might get a cheerless repeat of yesterday the rain ebbed and long blue tendrils began to wind between the pale clouds. There were a few more brief showers and some darker clouds, but those thin ribbons of sunlight rekindled all autumn’s colours, returned faint shadows to the trees.
Better but still skewed and fitful sleep, a sedate, heavily fatigued start but feeling better gradually as the sky cleared. A walk before lunch and slow stretches afterward, followed by online TTRPG group back on in the evening. Disappointed that I needed quite a bit of rest between each, and not much mental energy left over.
May we find moments of tranquility and inner calm today!
